Maxwell Osborne & Dao-Yi Chow of the cutting edge fashion label Public School have recently been appointed as the Creative Directors of global fashion brand DKNY. They will oversee the menswear and womenswear collections. The duo's first interpretation of the brand will premiere this September at New York Fashion Week.
Partnering in 2008, Osborne and Yi Chow have garnered quite the accolades. They are MADE Fashion Week Alumni, winners of the 2013 Swarovski Award for Menswear and the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund. In 2014 they were awarded the CFDA Menswear Designer of the Year Award and in 2015, they won the first-ever International Woolmark Prize for menswear. They premiered there womenswear designs in February 2014 and were lauded by fashion editors and buyers everywhere.
DKNY also appointed Hector Muelas - former creative director of global marketing communications at Apple - as Chief Image Officer. This is the first time the LVMH-owned brand has had this position.
