Indique Hair supports the fight against Breast Cancer! We promote early detection and screening. So, for the entire month of October, our boutiques served as a hub for facilities offering free mammograms across the country. We also asked friends and families of breast cancer survivors to share their story with Indique for a chance for them to win an amazing Indique makeover! Our ultimate SweetPink experience on October 30th was amazing! From 4pm to 7pm, attendees received an Indique Sweet Pink chocolate bar for a chance to win 20 tubes of Indique Hair and automatically become the Indique Cares Ambassador and at the end of the night one lucky winner received her golden ticket! New Hair Trend: Sombre Highlights
Lower lighting is the hair trend that never seems to end. This year take it up a notch with "Sombre Highlights." Unlike Ombre highlights Sombre highlights mimic a faded look with highlights added around the face and a much more gradual descent into a brighter shade of your natural hair color. The Black Magic Halloween Cocktail
With Halloween right around the corner, you may need drink suggestions for a party or a night with friends. Cast a spell over your Halloween party guests with this bewitching beverage that combines orange juice with black vodka and triple sec.
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup ice.
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1 1/2 ounces black vodka
- 1/2 ounce triple sec
- orange wedge, for garnish
Instructions:
- In a cocktail shaker, add orange juice and triple sec over ice. Shake well, and strain into a glass.
- Using the back of a spoon, pour black vodka slowly into a glass so that the vodka sits atop the orange juice and triple sec mix.
- Carefully dip one edge of the orange wedge into the vodka for a spooky presentation, and sit the wedge on the rim of the glass.

Restoration Weekend
Founded by Michelle Hargrove in 2007, Restoration Weekend is a one-of-a-kind 4 day, 3 night, luxury weekend of serenity, reconnection, and personal revival for women who need to “restore” themselves from the many hats they wear as busy wives, mothers, caregivers and career women. Designed for the busy, over-extended woman who often gives more than she takes, the purpose of Restoration Weekend is to educate, empower and restore women as dynamic influences in our society. During this time of restoration, 40 women from all walks of life and various parts of the country, are inspired, uplifted and empowered by industry leaders, events and sessions focused on business, psychology, nutrition, spirituality, finances, and physical maintenance. Restoration Weekend attendees also have the opportunity to participate in Restoring Hope™, a service project to give back to the community, typically involving school aged children. Restoration Weekend this year was in Turks & Caicos!
For the second year in a row, Indique's Pro Stylist, Gabrielle Corney joined by Celebrity Makeup Artist DeeDee Kelly and Celebrity Hair & Makeup Artist, Chris Gees, all participated in the "Restore the Glam" segment. Gabrielle styled a gorgeous participant with Indique's PURE Wavy U-Part!
Many of the ladies said that "The Restoring The Glam" was their favorite part of the weekend. There were many tears of joy!

It's Girl's Night Out and you have no clue what to wear. You want to be comfortable but, simple and chic as well. You pull out a button up shirt and a pair of leggings or jeans but there's just one piece missing from your ensemble that would help to take this look up a notch. Safe Ways to Add Color To Your Install
- Custom color a couple of pieces from your bundle and sew clips to create clip ins to add to your install. This even works well for your own hair. This option allows you to experiment a little more just in case you aren't in love with the color you pick or if you like to switch up your look often
- Try a closure. If a blonde bombshell or daring redhead are in your future hair fantasies, try using a closure to achieve this look. Keep the roots dark and gradually extend your color. A closure allows you to protect your own hair underneath making blending an easy task.

Shawna Love Williams Hosts "Queens & Crowns"!
This past Sunday, Indique Queens hosted an amazing style session with Indique Partner Stylist Shawna Love Williams! She specializes in closures and transformed her assistant wearing Bounce Relaxed Straight in 10” & 12" with a Bounce RS 12”crown closure.
The model wore a blonde ombre in which she cut into a short bob with a swooped bang. The style looked absolutely natural and beautiful. We topped the session off with a few raffle gifts, which included essentials and a gift certificate for Shawna services. We had so much fun and everyone left feeling empowered and beautiful.

Get A Bouncy Blowout
Yes, you can get a smooth, voluminous salon-worthy look right at home!
Here are some steps on how to get your bouncy blowout:
1. After you have washed your hair apply a conditioning primer spray from roots to end.
2. Using your fingers, dry your hair until its damp. But focus mainly on the roots. If you have curly hair you can skip this step.
3. Starting at the nape of your neck and working up, blow-dry your hair in 2 sections: Wrap each a round brush and bend ends under for movement.
4. Roll sections of hair into loops after blow drying. Be sure to secure them with clips and let them cool before unclipping.
5. For face-framing sections, hold the brush vertically and roll in as you blow-dry. Then remove the clips and tousle with fingers.
After following these steps, your blowout should be bouncy and voluminous!
