As one of the models for Indique Hair International for the International Hair and Beauty Show 2010 in Secaucus, NJ, Shay shares her experience in a recent blog post.
I spent my weekend in Jersey at the International Hair and Beauty Show. I can’t say GIRL HEAVEN enough. Big names and up-and-comings were there. Some of my favorites: Design Essentials, Organic Root Stimulator, Mizani and Luster. For the guys: Wahl, Andis and more. From wholesale prices on products, to classes and tutorials, hair competitions and showcases, the two day event was well worth it. Not to mention a wholesaler from New York that was pushing bottles of O.P.I for $3.75 (I DIED).
I had the pleasure of working the INDIQUE booth. “Are you familiar with Indique Hair?” Well get with it…
Whether you’re constantly changing your style or just trying out weave for the first time, Indique offers amazing quality products.Their hair is 100% Virgin Indian Remy Hair that comes directly from the source without any chemical processing. It does not tangle, matte or shed and can be re-installed for up to a year when maintained properly.
The hair is light weight and extremely soft. Even with my hair braided up and the tracks sewn in, the style is not lumpy or bulgy; I can still wear my caps!
You can treat the hair as if it were your own. Wash it, condition it, blow dry it and straighten it or curl it. Here, a hot curling wand was used to customize my style.
Every tube of Indique hair comes from one donor; therefore it has its own unique natural color and natural hair texture. You can play around with the texture depending on what products you use. You can also dye the hair without compromising the original texture.
In all photos, I am wearing Wavy from the Pure collection. If you need any more convincing, Lady Gaga wears Indique hair from the Hysteria collection!
