Thick is In Thin is Out: Guide to the Perfect Eyebrows

Shaping your eyebrows is essential to framing your face. It is important that you really consider what the best look for you is and that you do not try to duplicate anyone else's look. Shaping your brows doesn't mean cutting them all off and drawing them back on. Simply remove excess hair by tweezing, waxing, threading or razoring your eyebrows. Be sure to follow your natural brow line. This will give you the most natural look. Don't remove too much hair. You just want to clean them up.

When it comes to grooming your brows thicker is usually better. It has been the trend in the beauty and fashion industry for the past few years and it looks better (thicker brows make you look younger). You can always cut them a little thinner if they are too thick for your liking.

To define your brows use a brow pencil or brow powder from your favorite makeup brand that is a color slightly lighter than your eyebrows. The right shade of blush and an angle brush could also work. Sephora has amazing brow kits for sale that include everything you need as well as the steps to achieve the perfect look.

The inner part of your eyebrows should be slightly lighter than your tapered tails. It should be a gradual change, using the same color, not a dramatic change in color. If your eyebrows are bushy or a little curly then use a clear brow gel or use a small bit of oil to make sure they stay slicked down.
