Indique Sponsors Glam for K. Michelle - "Rebel Against" Campaign Shoot

About 2 weeks ago Indique was on the scene to provide makeup and hair for the K. Michelle "Rebel Against" Campaign shoot in ATL. The newly signed songstress partnered with community organization, Saving Our Daughters, to shoot their "Rebel Against" Campaign. Indique sponsored hair and makeup for 12 women from the organization who all faced adversity ranging from domestic violence, racism, sexual, and mental abuse. K. Michelle looked gorgeous wearing her custom colored BOUNCE Deep Wave in 22". Our team of AMAZING Indique make up artists and hairstylists were there to make each individual woman feel beautiful and special. Check out K. Michelle's new single "V.S.O.P." here and on iTunes!

Excited for Eve's Lip Lock Album!

The video,"Make it Out This Town," contains a powerful message from a powerful woman while Gabe Saporta, of Cobra Starship, adds the perfect finish to the track. RECAP: Together for Raquel Fundraiser

This past weekend we supported our neighbors, Mimada Beauty Bizarre, and their amazing fundraiser event for Rachel. Raquel Nunn was trapped in a gas explosion inside her Haddon Heights, New Jersey apartment which left her displaced and suffering from 2nd and 3rd degree burns over her entire body. Raquel being an employee of Mimada's, the salon created Together for Raquel, an event full of entertainment, give-aways, beauty consultations, and tasty food in efforts to raise funds for her. Philadelphia's South Street community also pitched in to raise awareness of this great cause. Together for Raquel was an amazing, and heartfelt experience and and we wish her the best with her recovery.

1)      Eat Breakfast.  It’s the most important meal of the day.  Try a bowl of healthy cereal paired with fresh fruit and a glass of juice.  Eating early on helps to avoid overeating at lunch time.

2)      Grab a healthy snack such as granola bars or fruit.  Try eating one every 3 hours to help fight the urge to swipe past the vending machine at work.

3)      Drink a gallon of water per day.  It helps to relieve hunger pains and will fill you up.  We recommend drinking water prior to meals to keep portion sizes moderate.

4)      Stock up on healthy foods only! That way when you are tempted to grab something on the go it’s a healthy choice as oppose to a quick fix.

5)      Think healthy.  Even fast food eateries have healthy options and calorie charts to help you make better eating decisions.
