Ursala Stephen's New Brooklyn Salon
Ursala Stephens launched her new salon in Brooklyn last night. Every tastemaker and the "Who's Who" in the beauty industry, including Indiquenista bloggers, Christina from LoveBrownSugar, Danielle from Style & Beauty Doctor, and Lexi from Lexi with the Curls. They were all there to celebrate the veteran celebrity hairstylist's new endeavor. Ursala rose to the ranks in popularity as the stylist who coined Rihanna's famous asymetrical shoulder length haircut. Indique Soho's resident stylist, Joyce was on the scene to celebrate with Ursie! The salon is appropriately titled "Ursala Stephens" and located on Lafayette Ave. Checkout the pictures below.

The Beauty in Bloom event in Philadelphia let people experience the latest in fashion trends, makeup and accessories. A portion of the proceeds benefited Mommy’s Light (mommyslight.org). Mommy's Light supports hundreds of children/teens and their families in continuing cherished traditions, once a year, each year until the child/teen turns 18 years old and they provide bereavement services to the children/teens. The Indique Philadelphia Boutique staff was onsite to take in all the fabulousness!

RECAP: Together for Raquel Fundraiser
This past weekend we supported our neighbors, Mimada Beauty Bizarre, and their amazing fundraiser event for Rachel. Raquel Nunn was trapped in a gas explosion inside her Haddon Heights, New Jersey apartment which left her displaced and suffering from 2nd and 3rd degree burns over her entire body. Raquel being an employee of Mimada's, the salon created Together for Raquel, an event full of entertainment, give-aways, beauty consultations, and tasty food in efforts to raise funds for her. Philadelphia's South Street community also pitched in to raise awareness of this great cause. Together for Raquel was an amazing, and heartfelt experience and and we wish her the best with her recovery.

Checkout Indique Soho Client Liaison Errica who loves rocking her STUDIO Collection PURE Curly 16" Fishnet. First Indique Soho resident stylist, Joyce, lifted the natural color with an ombre effect. Then I used ManicPanic's Vampire Red and a mix of Vampire Red & Cotton Candy at the ends. This summer is the time to have some fun with color!
