Rihanna For Rolling Stone

Our Basian goddess has done it again! The Internet is buzzing with the outtakes from Rihanna's photo shoot with photographer Terry Richardson.  Rihanna and Richardson teamed up for her March 2013 spread for Rolling Stone magazine. Of course, the pop princess was effortlessly beautiful and outrageously fierce.

If you are a fan of Rihanna's edgy and versatile hairstyle, try PURE Curly to achieve this look. While straight, Pure Curly has lots of body and holds voluminous curls or waves. Then! For the semi curly look, simply apply water  and your favorite leave- in conditioner mixture to the ends of your hair using a spray bottle.

Ready. Set. Snatched!

Green Hair Sensation!

Green is the new black! Emerald Green has been coined as the 2013 Pantone color of the year. This great color has been spotted on several people. Check out our favorites below:

Face Framing Highlights

Tired of the Ombre trend? Then opt for brighter face-framing sections of hair, instead of dyed tips.

Adding slight highlights in the front of your hair will draw attention to her gorgeous face. Liven up your base with the highlights. Try sun-kissed highlights in a slightly deeper golden tone. It adds color without overdoing it. Subtle honey and caramel highlights also perk up your complexion.

Stylspiration Teyonah Parris

We love Mad Man's  Teyonah Parris' updo at this year's SAG Awards! We're in the Indique lab right now trying to recreate this.

Try our Bounce Organic Curl and have your stylist just sew your tracks in the middle section of your head; like a mohawk.

Brush out the curl pattern with a paddle brush to create fullness.

Use a roll and tuck technique to pin your chic pompadour in place.

The great thing about this style is that there is just one way to do it. Get creative and make it your own!

MAC Cosmetics Presents...

Remember the days as a kid when we used to love Archie comics? Well MAC Cosmetics has revealed a new limited edition collection that features our favorite characters Betty and Veronica on a number of different items. The items are available in two color palettes lighter shades for the Betty's in all of us or darker for us who are more like Veronica. In a press release for the collection, the company said: 'Betty and Veronica - the names alone are a vivid four-color flashback to an era of sweet, comic book innocence."

How to achieve a Faux Bob!

To create this look:

1. Apply volumizing spray to wet hair at the roots then blow dry.

2. On dry hair, curl 1-inch sections of hair, starting from the back, using a 1 or 1 1/2-inch curling iron, while working your way to the front of your hair. Key: the more curls the better

3. After curling your hair apply a dime sized amount of shine serum to your hair and run your fingers through the hair to loosen the curls.

4. At the end of your hair, tie a hair elastic and roll the hair under the elastic, tucking hair towards the nape of your neck. Spread the hair evenly in a horizontal direction creating a bob. Leave sides of hair out to further create the illusion of the bob.

6. Secure with bobby pins and apply an even coat of hairspray.

2)      Oriental Inspired Clothing: Think sexy Geisha! Prada debuted some amazing oriental inspired pieces for their spring collection.  Keep up with this trend by pairing your classic pieces with a great kimono or oriental printed silks to give your wardrobe a new look.

3)      Metallics: Think hues of gold, bronze, or silver. Keeping any metallics you’ve invested in through 2012 is not only a good idea, it’s a must.

4)      Leather Skirts: A great way to play up the weather by adding a heavier material with a lighter chiffon shirt while you transition with the seasons.

5)      Retro: Great styles always repeat themselves. 1950s  style costume jewelry, pencil skirts, vintage-style hats and anything that takes its cues from the bold, bright side of 1960s fashion are a go! Pair great sweaters with cropped plaids and keep it fun!
